Dear Friends:
We are proud to once again honor the memory of loved ones with our Memorial Christmas Tree Program. This program offers the families we have served and community friends an opportunity to reflect and remember. We want our tree to be an acknowledgement of a life that has been lived and memories that will endure.
We would like to invite you to purchase an ornamental butterfly for a donation of $10.00. All the proceeds from the purchase of the butterfly will go to “Running Rebel’s Parents Fenelon Falls Minor Baseball Association”. Currently FFMBA is raising funds to install handicap accessible playground equipment at Russ Baptiste Sports Park in Fenelon Falls. The money raised will enhance the park.
The butterfly will have the name of your loved one attached and will be placed on our “Community Memorial Christmas Tree” located in the funeral home from Wednesday, November 23rd to Thursday, December 15th. You will then be able to pick up the butterfly from our office so that it can be placed on your Christmas tree at home. If you are unable to pick up your butterfly before Christmas, please advise us and we will make arrangements to have it delivered or mailed directly to you.
This will be our eleventh year of involvement with this community partnering, having raised $12,000.00. Last year we partnered with the Ross Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit. We feel that in assisting with worthwhile local programs, we are contributing back to our community and caring for our families and friends.
Please feel free to drop into the funeral home at 8 Princes’ St. W., on Monday, November 7th to Friday, December 2nd , from 9-4:00 p.m. to arrange for your butterfly. You can also give us a call at 887-3130 or 1-866-453-9277 to do so over the telephone.
